Fear has gripped Barcelona!
Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has openly admitted he is scared of Galatasaray hitman Victor Osimhen ahead of Tuesday’s blockbuster Champions League clash at Rams Park.
Flick Warns: Osimhen Is Fantastic, Dangerous
The German tactician singled out the Nigerian striker as the biggest threat to his team, describing him as a “fantastic striker” that his defenders must watch like hawks.
Speaking in an interview with Ahaber ahead of the Matchday Two showdown, Flick confessed Gala have a great squad but Osimhen is the nightmare.
“Galatasaray have a fantastic striker like Osimhen. They really have a great squad. We need to be ready for this match. We have to play our best football against Galatasaray,” Flick warned.
Osimhen Returns With Fire
Flick’s fear is justified. Osimhen just marked his injury return with an explosive performance on Friday, coming off the bench to provide an assist in Galatasaray’s 3-1 win over Kasimpasa after missing three weeks with injury.
That cameo was enough to shake Barcelona’s camp. The former Wolfsburg, Charleroi, Lille and Napoli star looked sharp, hungry and deadly.
Now expectations are rife that Osimhen, the 2023 African Footballer of the Year, will start against Barca on Tuesday night.
Can Barca Cage The Beast?
Flick knows the only way to survive in Istanbul is to cage Osimhen. The Super Eagles striker is famous for his pace, power and killer finishing – rare qualities that have terrorized Europe.
With Galatasaray unbeaten at Rams Park, Barcelona must be at their absolute best. But with Osimhen back and roaring, even the mighty Catalans are shaking.
Tuesday will be war – and Osimhen is the weapon Flick fears most!
