Sevilla has bid goodbye to Akor Adams in an emotional statement wishing him well in Venice.
Sevilla FC and Venezia FC fficially sealed the deal on Wednesday night for the transfer of Akor Adams, who signs for four seasons with the Italians – until June 30, 2030.
The transfer is put at about 23.5 million euros with add on.
Sevilla FC, who paid 5.5 million euros for Akor Adams a year and a half ago, will receive at least a fixed fee of 16.8 million euros, which can reach 20 million through easily fulfilled variables.
Undoubtedly, this is a great boost for the austere summer planning of José Ignacio Navarro, who now has the difficult task of getting his replacement right without hardly touching what he has entered.
Sevilla FC thank Akor Adams for his role in the club and wish him luck in Venice.
“Sevilla FC and Venezia FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Akor Adams to the Italian Serie A side. The Nigerian striker, who arrived in the capital of Seville in the winter transfer window of the 24/25 season from French side Montpellier, has accumulated a total of 37 games played in which he managed to score 10 goals and provide four assists,” explained the club in a statement in which it recalls that all those contributions came in 25/26 and he was an essential player to them.
