It was a weekend of carnage and comebacks!

Matchweek 6 delivered 31 goals in 9 games, with Enzo Maresca showing why City picked him to succeed Pep Guardiola.

Maresca Masterclass At Anfield

The headline was at Anfield. Liverpool, now managed by Andoni Iraola, were torn apart 3-0 by Maresca’s Manchester City on Sunday. Erling Haaland led the line as City made it six wins from six and sit top on 18 points.

Maresca, who returned for his third stint at Etihad after winning Club World Cup with Chelsea in 2025, has been flawless despite off-pitch charges hanging over City.

Arsenal Fight Back, Chelsea Run Riot

On Saturday, Arsenal trailed Leeds at Emirates but roared back to win 2-1, staying three points behind City.

Chelsea, under new management, produced the biggest score – a ruthless 5-1 thrashing of Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge.

United Frustrated Again

At Old Trafford, Manchester United drew 1-1 with Tottenham Hotspur. Michael Carrick’s United still searching for rhythm despite return of De Ligt and Sesko.
