A leader of Ward Four of the Action Democratic Party (ADC) in the Okrika local government area, Rivers State, Barrister Alamina Selema, has called on all indigenes and people living in the area to come out in their numbers to ensure the present APC government is voted out of office in the forthcoming presidential and governorship elections in 2027 irrespective of party affiliation.

He is particularly not happy in view of the economical situation APC government has put the country into vis a vise poverty, hunger, insecurty etc.

He urged all the people to defend their votes to the collition center, not just to vote and go to their houses to sleep.

Barrister Selema, who is also one of the leaders of party in the LGA, said in an interview with journalists in Okrika on Monday.

According to him, the party has fielded credible and experienced presidential, vice presidential, governorship and deputy governorship candidates, who are Atiku Abubakar, Rotimi Ameachi, Dr. Gabriel Pidomsom and Hon. David Okumgba, respectively.

“The administration of ADC does not believe in nepotism; everybody in every area and individual must be treated equally with no discrimination of any ethnic group. After all, Nigeria and Rivers State belongs to all of us.

“Members of ADC will vehemently resist any form of intimidation and electoral fraud in Okrika and will do same peacefully and in line with the law of the land

We will stop political godfatherism in River State; the state should be liberated. Enough is Enough.

The era of ballot box snaching and open rigging has passed; Members of ADC will not tolerate such things to happen anymore,” Barrister Selema said.
