The U.S. has released the list of 300 awaiting deportees. Among them are 124 Nigerians.
The awaiting-deportees have been placed on what the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) calls its “worst-of-the-worst” criminal register.
But, the timeline for deportations and details of offences remain undisclosed.
The DHS described the deportations as part of ongoing immigration enforcement.
Officials confirmed that those listed were convicted of serious crimes, but declined to provide details about the offences or when deportations would take place.
